The Knights of Columbus (K of C) is a global Catholic Service Order founded by Fr. Michael J. McGivney on March 29, 1882. Membership is open to Catholic men. There are approximately 2 million members of the K of C which comprise 16,000 councils around the world.
When a Knight of Columbus has been exemplified to the four principles of charity, unity, fraternity, and patriotism; he is then recognized as a "Sir Knight" or a 4th Degree Knight. Approximately 370,000 Sir Knights hold membership in over 3,600 assemblies worldwide.
The Colorado District holds within it several divisions. This website is dedicated to those in the Northern Colorado District which include assemblies in Fort Collins, Fort Morgan, Fort Lupton, Frederick, Greeley, Longmont, Loveland, Sterling, and Windsor Colorado as well as those in the Catholic Archdiocese of Denver.
Brother Sir Knights come from all walks of life, varied cultures, diversified occupations, an assortment of interests, and different socioeconomic realms.
How they come together in a "one-ness of purpose" is with Christ-like service and charity to those in need. Sir Knights strive to provide stewardship and support to others.

Hunger comes in several forms. Physical, psychological, spiritual, and relational starvation is suffered by many. First you determine what is amiss....then you strive to fill the emptiness.
This is what we, as Sir Knights, strive to do !
